Abstract

This article contains traditions of scientific-theoretical study of socio-psychological aspects of sanogenic and pathogenic thinking in the advanced experiences of foreign scientists. In these theories, the genesis of definitions for the category of sanogenic and pathogenic thinking is considered depending on how it is interpreted as a social psychological phenomenon. According to the analysis of scientific literature and developments, the concepts of thought, emotion, intelligence and sanogenic thinking have been developed as an independent direction of psychology in foreign theories. In particular, Sanogenic thinking is an effective way to improve the health of the human mind. That is, the method and criteria for overcoming the crisis situations that have arisen during the life activity of a person with the help of mental support and emotional-emotional self-influence are presented.
