Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of spiritual and moral principles in improving character learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, with the type of research as a site study. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques use interactive data patterns: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verifying. The results of this study state that this principal's model based on spiritual morals can improve character learning. People with high spirituality tend to behave in a way that positively impacts other humans. Suppose the spiritual level of a school principal is high. In that case, deviant behavior or fraudulent acts will not occur because of the awareness that the Creator and the adverse effects, including the burden of accountability before God in the Hereafter, monitor all his activities. Through the principalship, spiritual morals are expected to help facilitate the implementation of character education learning through student education.
