Abstract

The most important Public policy debates today surround the use of euthanasia to end the sufferings of terminally ill patients. This debate revolves around one of the most important aspects which is, the right to a dignified life, and it is the central concern for one and all. This research paper is an attempt to analyze the legal issues involved in legalizing euthanasia and the consequences thereof. The research paper will also focus on the role played by the judiciary in India related to euthanasia.
