Wastewater from mining and processing plants is characterized by a high content of suspended solids, low transparency, relatively high
mineralization and a variety of specific ingredients, a high content of metals, cyanides and their complexes with metals, rhodanides, toxic
organic pollutants (flotation reagents and flocculants).
