Abstract

The article contains important and significant scientific information about the work "Attuhfatuz zakiyatu fillugatit turkiya" ("A unique gift about Turkish languages"), which was created approximately in the XIII-XIV centuries, the history and structure of its creation is studied in detail, the principles of interpretation of the articles and words in it are determined, the world, in particular, its place in the development of Turkish (Uzbek) lexicography is defined, its scientific and historical significance is revealed. It is proved by relevant examples that interpretation of word meaning in the dictionary is carried out according to a consistent and clear system and special attention is paid to the semantic analysis of words.
