Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the global medical and social problems in the healthcare system today. According to the International Diabetes Federation (IDF), in 2019 there were more than 425 million patients with type II diabetes worldwide [1,2,3,4].

The medical and social significance of diabetes is explained by serious complications of the disease, the high prevalence of disability and the number of deaths. To prevent and treat this pathology, it is important to study the pharmacotoxicological properties of drugs obtained from plants
