In the article, it is explained in detail that professional competence is not the acquisition of separate knowledge and skills, but the concept that implies the acquisition of integrative knowledge in each independent direction, and the interpretations of various scientists in relation to this concept are analyzed. As a result of the analysis, appropriate recommendations were made for the development of professional competence and creativity.
