Abstract

It is well known that transition metal-based nanoparticles work in concert to have stronger antibacterial properties" This research compares the antibacterial activity of two distinct nanoparticles, such as zinc oxide and silver oxide. The chemical reduction technique was used to synthesize the individual ZnO and AgO nanoparticles. FTIR spectrophotometers, XRD, TEM, and SEM were used to study the resultant particles. Next, the ingredients from Mueller-Hinton Broth were used to test and compare how well silver and zinc oxide nanoparticles fight against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including P. aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and S. pyogenes, before being placed into clean microtubes for the microdilution methods.
